One of the last memories that sticks in my head about my Gran is when we were visiting her in hospital and mum could tell that Gran was extra tired. So said " just tell us to bugger off if you need to sleep, we will come back & see you tom anyway" So Gran did! In her lovely funny way " yes, bugger off" So we left very shortly afterwards giving her loads of hugs & kisses. We were chatting to the nurses on the way out and Gran could see me through the glass. Now her eye sight was extremely bad, but she saw us and waved a huge wave goodbye. And yes we did go back the next day to bug her with more hugs & kisses. Can just picture her wee face while waving to us, knowing we were all checking up & ensuring the nurses were taking extra good care off her, she knew. x x x x
